A Company of Interna Group

Le Grand | Paris - France - 2002-2003 | Interior Designer: PYR Pierre-Yves Rochon

Le Grand Paris, part of the prestigious Intercontinental chain, reopened its doors to the public in April 2003 after 18 months of extensive restoration work. Located in a magnificent old building, just next to Garnier’s Opéra de Paris, the hotel is a spectacular example of late 19th century European luxury.
Interna created special, custom-made loose furniture for the hotel’s more than 400 rooms and suites as well as for all the public areas, following the designs Pierre Yves Rochon. All the furniture is in a French Empire style, matching the originals made in 1862, in mahogany veneer with decorative inlays or lacquered details embellished with gold leaf and bronze decorations. Some pieces have precious marble tops, leathers and valuable mosaics, with every detail receiving Interna customary care and attention.
