Founded in 1894 in the heart of the Eternal City as Le Grand Hotel, the St. Regis Rome has undergone an extensive refurbishment. Interna has been called to supply the complete fitout of the 138 rooms and 23 suites, including the bathrooms, the passageways, and corridors, as well as the doors. The rooms and suites, with soft colours in the shades of powder blue and terracotta, present a clever mix of Empire, Regency and Louis XV style, with bathrooms covered in Travertine, Marquina black marble and mosaic inserts. The same style is present in the decorative inserts on the walls of passageways and corridors.
